A survivor of Friday's Santa Fe High School shooting in Texas that has left at least ten people dead explained to a local news station why she wasn't surprised that her school was attacked.
In a video clip that is going viral on social media, the Santa Fe student is asked by a local reporter if she ever believed that "this could not happen at my school."
"No," the student replied. "It’s been happening everywhere. I’ve always felt it would eventually happen here, too."
Officials in Santa Fe say that at least ten people have died so far as a result of the shooting, while dozens more were injured and are being cared for at local hospitals.
