The White House is refusing to answer questions following the controversial decision to send Chief of Staff John Kelly and Donald Trump lawyer Emmet Flood to a meeting at the Justice Department on Thursday.
President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, rebuffed questions during a scrum with White House reporters on Friday, CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins reports.
Sarah Sanders didn't give a yes or no answer when asked if John Kelly and Emmett Flood got a readout of the briefings yesterday, only saying, "They didn’t participate in the meeting and they weren’t part of that process."

On Thursday, following reports Flood was spotted at the meeting, Collins reminded that Sarah Huckabee Sanders claimed Flood was hired to his taxpayer-funded job to fight “the Russia witch hunt.”
What Sarah Sanders said when Emmet Flood joined: “…will be joining the White House staff to represent the president and the administration against the Russia witch hunt.” https://t.co/NiVtsOG3ei
