Nate Woodward is the store manager at Sacramento Black Rifle.

The store manager at a California firearms dealer was disappointed to learn that his logo -- featuring an AR-15 rifle -- was not welcome at Costco, Fox 40 reports.

Sacramento Black Rifle company has now had their banner removed from Costco stores in Citrus Heights and Roseville, California. The company's sister store, Sparks Black Rifle in Nevada, also had their banners removed from a Costco store.

The banners were hung as a part of a charity drive for the Children’s Miracle Network, which funds children's hospitals and medical research into child health issues.

For a $500 donation, local business could hang a banner inside a Costco store.

Sacramento Black Rifle store manager Nate Woodward says the company has had banners up for years.

“Citrus Heights actually told us that it was against their guidelines," Woodward noted. "They didn’t want to have the banner up in their store anymore."

He said Costco told him that customer complaints resulted in the banners being removed.
