According to one Democratic Congressman, there are four horsemen of Congress that are spearheading President Donald Trump's Cult Caucus.

In an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) referred to accusations by Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) that Trump has developed a cult-like following from Republican members.

"This is his goal," Schiff explained. "It is to discredit the [special counsel Robert] Mueller investigation. We cannot, I don't think, be oblivious to how over the course of time, he has numbed us to these violations of policy, of norms of office, norms of behavior."

He went on to stress the importance of the investigation into the president and that it is critical to take it seriously for the future of the United States.

"Wolf, this is an investigation implicating the president of the United States even in completely unrelated investigations, the president of the United States is not supposed to be dictating to the Justice Department how they should conduct an investigation or who they should investigate or how."

Blitzer then asked who the members are who are leading the Cult Caucus.

"Well, there are four horsemen of this apocalypse have been Devin Nunes (R-CA), and Trey Gowdy (R-SC), and Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Jim Jordan (R-OH)," Schiff continued. "They've been leading the charge in the service of the president. And in the meantime, they do enormous damage to these institutions. Ultimately, they'll be held accountable. I think when this chapter is written it will condemn the president in the strongest terms, but it will also condemn this congress. And these [men] undermine the checks and balances."
