A California congresswoman who has been receiving death threats in response to attacks on her character from President Donald Trump directly addressed the harassment during a speech at the "Families Belong Together" march in Los Angeles on Saturday.
President Trump issued a thinly veiled threat against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) after lawmaker applauded the fact that White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service at the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia.
President Trump continued his feud with Waters for days.
"I know ther are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me," she said.
"All I have to say is this: if you shoot me you better shoot straight, there's nothing like a wounded animal," Waters warned.
