WATCH: Stephanie Ruhle nearly blurts out 'well no sh*t' as she reports on Trump's job report tweet
MSNBC anchors Stephanie Ruhle and Katy Tur.

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle came dangerously close to swearing on national television during a Friday interview on "The Big Question" with Katy Tur.

"Stephanie, first off why is the president getting flak for the jobs, in your opinions?" Tur asked.

"It's all in the tweet," Ruhle replied. "President Trump gets the numbers, gets this data the night before. It is held in top secret."

"The lockup around these numbers is massive because it's market moving," Ruhle explained. "An hour before the number is published, the president tosses out a tweet at 7:20 in the morning."

"Well no sh--" she said, trailing off before finishing the word.

"Correct, we know you know that," Ruhle rephrased.

The host had a novel defense, blaming her colleague for the language.

"This is what you do to me, Katy Tur," she said with a smile.
