White House issues panicky statement declaring calls to abolish ICE will doom America

Published

Calls to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have ratcheted up recently, with Democratic candidates and even federal agents calling for the elimination of the agency.

While some Democrats have warned that campaigning on the issue is asking for trouble in the upcoming midterms, others have embraced getting rid of the agency.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who stomped Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley, ran partly on the platform of abolishing ICE.

On Thursday, the White House Press Office sent out a panicked release detailing all the ways America will be doomed if the agency, which was only created in 2003, were to be abolished.

“ABOLISHING ICE WOULD ERASE AMERICA’S BORDERS AND OPEN THE FLOODGATES TO MORE CRIME, DRUGS, AND TERRORISM,” the press release screams.

In fact, many other agencies are charged with enforcing America’s border laws.

Once the floodgates are opened, the White House insists, there’s no end to the horrors that will be unleashed upon the American people.

“Abolishing ICE would mean open borders because it would eliminate the agency responsible for removing people who enter or remain in our country illegally, including drug dealers; gang members; and child molesters, rapists, and other sex offenders,” according to the White House.

Naturally, MS-13 will be allowed to run amok.

“Abolishing ICE would allow dangerous criminal aliens—including violent and ruthless members of the MS-13 gang—to remain in American communities and inflict terrible harm on innocent American men, women, and children.”

Alongside MS-13 would facilitate the drug trade rotting the heartland with opioids.

“Abolishing ICE would mean more dangerous illegal drugs flowing into our communities, causing more Americans to needlessly suffer,” they claim, even though there are more than enough law enforcement agencies charged with keeping drugs off the street, from the DEA to small town police departments.

And finally, more terrorism.

“Abolishing ICE would mean eliminating the agency that deports aliens that pose a terrorist threat to the United States.”

“To the great and brave men and women of ICE, do not worry or lose your spirit. You are doing a fantastic job of keeping us safe by eradicating the worst criminal elements,” President Donald Trump said.

Trump picks Antonin Scalia’s son to replace disgraced former Labor Secretary: report

Published

on

On Thursday, NPR reported that President Donald Trump is naming Eugene Scalia, the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, to take over as Secretary of Labor.

Scalia, who served on the court from 1986 to his death in 2016, was known as one of the staunchest conservatives on the bench. His seat was deliberately kept vacant by Republicans for over a year to deny President Barack Obama the ability to make an appointment to it.

The Department of Labor was until this month run by former federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who resigned in disgrace amid renewed questions about his role in brokering a potentially illegal sweetheart plea agreement with hedge fund manager and accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

DOJ policy blocking Trump from being indicted ‘factored into’ the end of the Stormy Daniels case: report

Published

Federal prosecutors decided to close the investigation into the 2016 criminal hush money payment to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal that benefitted the Trump campaign because, in part, of the policy that prevents the indictment of a sitting president, according to a new report from USA Today citing an anonymous source.

Michael Cohen has already pleaded guilty to the violation of campaign finance law. He said that he carried out the effort in coordination with and at the direction of then-candidate Donald Trump in order to increase his chances of victory in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump’s Pentagon spokeswoman forced staff to run errands — and even help her adopt a foster child: report

Published

On Thursday, the Department of Defense Inspector General released a scathing report on ex-Pentagon spokesperson Dana White, the result of an investigation that began last year following ethics complaints from her staff.

The IG concluded that White used federal staffers to help her run personal errands both during and outside of work hours. Officials were forced to book her personal travel, deliver lunch and snacks to her office, act as her chauffeur, handle her dry cleaning, and book a makeup artist to come to her house.
