Donald Trump’s closest associates and friends seem to be turning on the president one-by-one. During Friday's night show, CNN's Chris Cuomo broke down the latest timeline of Trump's hush money payments and what they are leading to.

"My focus is lying about criminal conduct and related potential illegality on the part of the president. The president is lying to you, and that's wrong," Cuomo said.

"The White House will do anything to avoid this reality [because] it leads places they don't want to go, but we must. So where does it take us? We know the president lied and is lying when he says he only knew about these payments after they were made [because] Cohen said it," Cuomo said.

Cuomo then transitioned into talking about David Pecker who allegedly partnered with the president to kill negative news stories.

"David Pecker, one of [Trump's] oldest friends, who we know as one of the parties to these dealings as the head of the National Enquirer knew exactly what the president knew.

Cuomo then said that if Pecker and Cohen weren't enough, Trump’s most trusted business associate and one of his closest friends might spill his secrets.

"Now we hear that another player, who would definitely know what Donald Trump was a part of, with both of these hush agreements, and maybe a whole raft of other situations we don't even know about yet has been given immunity. His name is Allen Weisselberg," he said.
