Fox News host Neil Cavuto and pro-Putin congressman Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) got into screaming match over Jeff Sessions on Friday afternoon.

Rohrabacher attacked Sessions as disloyal to the president and country, claiming that Sessions should resign because he refuses to oversee the Mueller investigation himself since he talked to Russians as part of the Trump campaign in 2016. Cavuto said Trump should go ahead and fire Sessions, prompting what Cavuto called a "surreal" exchange.

"If he disagrees with what the president wants him to do, he should resign," Rohrabacher said. "Jeff Sessions was not elected president. The fact that we get people—letting people like Jeff Sessions get away with it should indicate this incredible propaganda campaign that has tied the president's hands to do what is necessary to be a successful president."

Cavuto pointed out that Rohrabacher would likely fire anyone on his staff if he had a problem with them and said Trump should man-up and sack Sessions.

"Fake news has created this situation where this the president does what is right so he can assume his authority as president, there will be an avalanche. Oh, it's part of the cover-up," Rohrabacher said.

"Congressman, you don't like the guy. You hate the guy. You think he's a loser, he's not getting it done. The president calls him Mr. McGoo," Cavuto said. "Fire his ass."
