GOP strategist drops a shocking warning on MSNBC: Trump will be ‘unleashed’ if Dems lose midterms

Republican strategist Susan del Percio wasn't shy about sharing her party's dim prospects for holding the House, telling MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle on Thursday, "it's ludicrous to think President Trump is thinking of anyone else but President Trump."

Although the president has said he intends to hit the 2018 campaign trail as much as possible, del Percio noted that he's concentrating on preserving his party's majority in the Senate, saying "he doesn't care about the House unless it affects him."

But in the wake of losing the House, del Percio painted a "frightening" picture for Trump, since so many of his lines of defense are vacant. "It's not just in the White house Counsel's office. It's all throughout the government," she said, adding that "this administration is running at 50% at best."

Ruhle doubted that the president is worried, but del Percio certainly was. "I think he'll care if the Democrats take over the House and all of a sudden the Intel committee is headed by a Democrat and they bring back everyone else for an interview, it will be a much different White House response.

But even in the wake of a Republican win, del Percio still didn't have a happy prognostication, saying "If the Democrats do not take back the House, Donald Trump is -- we think he's unleashed now, I can't even imagine what he'll do."
