Former NBC host Tamron Hall is reportedly developing a daytime talk show with ABC, which is part of The Walt Disney Company.

According to a statement released by ABC, Hall would host the syndicated talk show.

"We are incredibly excited to partner with Tamron and look forward to bringing a fresh new daytime talk show to stations across the country that will showcase her enormous talent and dynamic personality,” Disney's Janice Marinelli said in the statement, according to Broadcasting & Cable.

ABC Daytime Senior Vice President William Burton said that Hall's "wealth of experience and unique perspective is needed in today’s daytime landscape."

"We look forward to developing a daily destination showcasing her spirit, boundless enthusiasm and powerful ability to engage with viewers," Burton stated

Hall left her anchoring role on MSNBC and NBC because she would have been sidelined as the network hired former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

It's not yet clear whether the broadcast time of Hall's new show would put her up against Kelly.
