In Johnson County, Texas, a newly-appointed sheriff's deputy has been fired after being accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Dallas/Fort Worth's NBC5 reported Friday that 23-year-old Deputy Toby Bryce Allison was fired from the sheriff's office after it received a tip earlier in August claiming that he'd had sexual contact with the girl.
After getting the tip, the sheriff's office investigated Allison with the assistance of the Texas Rangers. They reportedly conducted a "forensic interview" with the victim prior to the deputy first being placed on leave and then subsequently fired.
Allison was arraigned on a $100,000 bond Friday.
