The New York Times reported Sunday that former personal lawyer to Donald Trump, Michael Cohen is being investigated for bank fraud, to the tune of $20 million.
Investigators are examining whether Cohen committed bank or tax fraud garnering millions from taxi businesses that he and his family own.
The former Trump fixer is already being investigated for possible campaign finance violations by paying off adult entertainers Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.
Cohen's office was raided by the FBI in April and recordings were seized that revealed conversations between Cohen and Trump. Cohen remained loyal to the president until it became clear it wasn't expedient to do so. Since then, Cohen seems to have cut ties with the president and the fallout has been a public one.
