President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani shocked the political world Sunday by declaring that "truth isn't truth."
On Monday, political observers wondered what Giuliani meant and what it tells us about how the administration plans to deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe.
As CNN pointed out, Giuliani's assault on the concept of truth is not new, but seems to be part of team Trump's strategy to bend reality to fit their political agenda.
CNN put together footage showing the Trump team's statements questioning objective reality, from Kellyanne Conway's "alternative facts" to President Trump telling his followers not to believe what they see and read.
"It's not the first time we've heard a message like this from the president or his team," said CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.
