President Donald Trump will hold a roundtable discussion with supporters at 6 p.m. EST Tuesday before a campaign rally at 7 p.m.

Trump is rumored to be relaxing coal plant standards that he indicated will save the entire industry. So far, that support hasn't manifested into saving the coal towns.

West Virginia went overwhelmingly for Trump in the 2016 election, but Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is up for reelection in a campaign against Patrick Morrisey. While the state is heavily red, Manchin is beloved, and the Republican isn't polling well.

According to Politico, Morrisey has been begging Trump for help.

"Morrisey has been blistered by ads from Democrats but has yet to hit the airwaves himself during the general election, and has less than $900,000 in the bank compared to Manchin's $6.2 million war chest," Politico said.
