Former Trump campaign adviser David Urban suggested on Monday that Americans elected President Donald Trump because of the physical appearance of President Barack Obama, who is black.
During a panel discussion on CNN, Urban argued that Obama was the wrong person to campaign for Democrats because his party lost the House of Representatives while he was president in 2010.
"If President Obama is so shocked about why the electorate voted for President Trump, all he needs to do is look in the mirror," Urban opined. "I mean, his presidency and his administration were the cause for the rise of the electorate and supporting of President Trump."
