Donald Trump Jr. on Thursday promoted a tweet by right-wing propagandist Dinesh D'Souza that explicitly endorses a blog post whose sole purpose is to slut shame the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempted rape.
"No one in the media is covering the culture of hookups and binge drinking the accuser was part of," wrote D'Souza in the tweet that was retweeted by Trump Jr. "Here's what they’re trying to cover up."
Below D'Souza's tweet was a link to an article at a blog called "The Cult of the First Amendment" that accused Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford of taking part in "binge drinking and promiscuity" while in high school.
The article posts photos allegedly from Ford's high school yearbook that relate to drinking and sex -- although nowhere in the messages is Ford herself actually mentioned as taking part in such activities.
Nonetheless, the post claims that the yearbooks are relevant to show that the culture at the Holton-Arms School produces loose women who drink to excess.
"The resistance media has been singularly focused on Brett Kavanaugh’s high school yearbooks, which imply that he got drunk and threw up," the post states. "There’s no need to imply anything from the Holton-Arms yearbooks. It’s all there in focus, and the written word too. All of the sordid details as approved for publication by a 'look the other way' faculty."
