GOP parade float crashed by tractor driver sending Minnesota candidate and his campaign manager to hospital

The GOP candidate for Secretary of State in Minnesota and his campaign manager were both injured when the party's float crashed on Sunday.


According to reports, the float was being pulled by a tractor when the tractor driver sped up and slammed into a curb.

The incident happened in Carver, Minnesota at the corner of Main and Hickory Streets.

GOP Secretary of State candidate John Howe was injured but not seriously.

Also injured was Howe's campaign manager, who posted a photo of himself in the hospital with the hashtag #MAGA.

The candidate was sent well-wishes from supporters on Twitter, including a warning from one Republican who suggested he avoid "SJW" doctors.
