An attorney representing Deborah Ramirez, one of the women who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, blasted President Donald Trump for falsely claiming she had been invited to speak before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
"The President just indicated that the Committee hearing tomorrow would be open to all three victims," attorney John Clune tweeted, "but we have not received a response to our request for an FBI investigation and the Republican Committee staff refused to even speak to us on the phone."
"This hearing feels like a setup," Clune added, "designed to obstruct the truth and guarantee a political outcome. Debbie Ramirez is ready to speak with the FBI now."
