A CNN panel on Thursday warned that the crisis involving the serial bomber sending explosive devices to critics of President Donald Trump is far from over.
During a discussion about the attempted bombings of Trump critics, CNN's Shimon Prokupecz said that the FBI still has no idea who is sending these explosive devices and said they expect the bomber to keep sending packages until they are caught.
"This is a major concern for the FBI, and we don't know where this person is," he explained. "When I spoke to somebody last night, they said, 'Look, we will wake up and see, and there could be more because the mail comes in the morning, so we could see more today.'"
Former FBI agent James Gagliano shared Prokupecz's analysis and said that "we are not out of the woods in the sense there may be other packages out there yet to be discovered."
Later in the panel, host John Berman reiterated the need for people to be careful and not assume that the crisis is contained.
"One of the biggest fears overnight into this morning is there are more bombs out there," Berman said. "There's a serial bomber on the loose this morning and there could be more bombs out there."
