Sen. Mitch McConnell gave a rambling speech on the Senate floor in which he dismissed the dozens of people who've come forward to accuse Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of either sexual assault or perjury.

The Senate majority leader was especially dismissive of the allegations that Kavanaugh was involved in drugging women for gang rapes, targeting his victim's "tabloid lawyer" on the floor of the Senate.

Michael Avenatti fired back a few minutes later, referring to McConnell as Trump's "cabin boy" and pointing to his own record of accomplishment as an attorney, including being named " trial lawyer of the year" by Public Justice and securing a billion dollars in settlements for his clients.
