Michael Avenatti taunts Trump over empty promise to hold rally in 'biggest stadium' in Texas

In August, President Donald Trump promised to hold a huge rally for embattled Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the "biggest stadium he could find."

The largest football stadium in Texas holds more than 100,000 people for football games. So does the second largest stadium.

While Cruz's opponent Beto O'Rourke drew 55,000 last weekend, no plans have materialized for that rally, which would bring Trump together with "Lyin' Ted," a man he sparred with brutally during the 2016 campaign.

Michael Avenatti taunted President Donald Trump about this on Twitter Wednesday, suggesting that the rally will never happen and that if it did there would be a hostile reaction.
