Documentarian Michael Moore predicted Friday what line Donald Trump will take when he finally responds to the Saudi's claim that journalist Jamal Khashoggi died during a "fistfight" inside its Turkey consulate.
"Of course! KHASHOGGI DIED BOXING!" Moore tweeted in reaction to the news. "Trump and the Saudi dictator finally have their lying story worked out."
The filmmaker joined a number of other pundits who immediately called BS on the Saudis' non-admission of guilt.
Along with acknowledging Khashoggi's death weeks after his disappearance was first reported, the Saudis also revealed that the government had detained 18 nationals in relation to the journalist's death. The Saudi government also fingered an interrogator close to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as Khashoggi's killer.
