On Thursday, CNN's Don Lemon exploded when asked how he felt about Kanye West meeting with Donald Trump.
West and Trump meet to talk about prison reform, but most of the news made revolved around West dropping F-bombs and ranting about how much he loves and respects the president.
During a panel discussion with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Lemon called the entire meeting a modern-day "minstrel show."
"I have no animosity for Kanye West. I'm just going, to be honest, and I may get in a lot of trouble for it. I actually feel bad for him," Lemon said. "What I saw was a minstrel show—him in front of all these white people embarrassing himself and embarrassing African Americans because every one of them is sitting either at home or with their phones watching this cringing."
"I couldn't even watch it. I had to turn the television off because it was so hard to watch the president of the United States exploiting him," he said.
