Comedian Stephen Colbert interviewed Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson during his show on Thursday night. Colbert mocked President Donald Trump for wanting to create a Space Force. "People make fun of it, I among them," Colbert said.
"Why do we need the Space Force," Colbert asked Tyson.
"Just because it came out of Trump's mouth doesn't' require it be a crazy thing," Tyson said.
"It doesn't help," Colbert joked.
"We have a Space Force, and it's called the United States Space Command, and it's under the office of the Air Force," Tyson said.
