On Friday, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced that he would vote yes on Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation.
As he was talking to reporters in the Senate building, protesters drowned out his interview by chanting in opposition.
"Shame on you," protesters screamed.
Kavanaugh was accused of sexually assaulting Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Despite this, Republican senators are moving forward with his nomination.
Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) also announced a yes vote for Kavanaugh after a lengthy speech.
