Ted Cruz’s campaign office evacuated after white powder found — two hospitalized

The campaign offices of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) have been evacuated and two people have been taken to the hospital after a white powder substance was sent there.
The report of Cruz’s office being evacuated comes from Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, who said a HazMat team was sent to Cruz’s campaign office.
Two people were taken to the hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance in an office building at 3200 SW Fwy. The 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower has been evacuated as HFD HazMat is responding to the scene working to determine the nature of the substance.

The Houston Fire Department said two were hospitalized from the 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower downtown.

On Tuesday, ricin was reportedly discovered in two envelopes sent to the Pentagon.
