Responding to the president's sexist remarks to ABC reporter Cecilia Vega yesterday, The View's Whoopi Goldberg dropped the mic on President Trump's misogyny and racism in a blistering righteous rant.
Co-host Abby Huntsman tried to change the subject from Trump's habit of insulting women, immigrants, minorities, and his political opposition to his tax cuts, but Goldberg wasn't having it.
"I don't mind if you are making the country better, but you can't take a giant dump on it at the same time," Goldberg said, pointing to the divisive president's political rhetoric.
"When you talk about people the way that do you, when you make fun of people's looks, when you talk about women like they are so dumb they don't -- they can't remember anything, when you talk about people of Mexican descent like they are not supposed to be in the country, when you talk about crap hole countries, when you talk like that, that's not a president I recognize," she added.
Goldberg took pains to point out that she wasn't a naïf. "We're not always going to be happy. I didn't love everything Obama did," she said. "I didn't love everything Bush did, butI understood why they were doing it. I do not understand this.
