Conservative commentator Bill Bennett warned that Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) may be in danger following for supporting the nomination of accused rapist Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Speaking to Fox News on Friday, Bennett appeared to warn that the people of Maine are violent.

There are winners in this," Bennett said. "It was bloody, it was like a war, but there were winners."

Among the winners counted by Bennett were President Donald Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Collins.

"The star of the show was, I think, was Susan Collins," Bennett said.

Bennet then said that the women criticizing Collins should give America "just a little quiet."

"I hope she's safe up there—there's some crazy people up there in Maine," he said. "And I hope people watch out for her."
