The bumbling Saturday Night Live Trump brothers, Don Jr. and Eric -- played by Alex Moffat and Mikey Day -- returned to the late-night comedy show to bring viewers up to date about what they have been doing since the show was on hiatus as well as attempt to dismiss a New York Times report that the entire family is up to their necks in tax avoidance.

Sitting down with "Weekend Update" anchor Colin Jost, Don Jr. explained he spent the summer, "running the Trump Organization, breaking ground on a new Trump property, as Eric cut in to blurt, “And I had swim lessons!”

After smirking and smearing the show as "Saturday Night Liberals," Don Jr, attempted to address the family's tax avoidance issues.

"Okay, yes. Our grandfather gave our father gifts over the years. But it wasn’t to avoid taxes, it was to —” Don Jr. attempted to explain, only to have Eric -- once again--  interrupt to shout, “Evade taxes!”

Don Jr. then ran out the clock, keeping Eric quiet by amusing him with a puppet.
