During a rally for Florida Republicans Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in Fort Meyers Wednesday, President Donald Trump told supporters that the 2018 election will be the most important in their lifetime.
Trump was there to get Republicans excited and out to the polls in a state where both lead Republican candidates are down in the polls. He stayed mostly on the script as he told the audience the critical nature of the 2018 election. But then paused and explained to the audience that 2016 was actually more important than 2018.
It shouldn't shock anyone to learn that the president considers his election far more important than anyone else.
