President Donald Trump on Friday publicly complained about the news coverage that is being devoted to the multiple explosive devices that have been sent all week to his critics.
“Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this ‘Bomb’ stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows — news not talking politics,” the president complained. “Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!”

Although the president had initially tried to strike a conciliatory tone when news of the explosive devices sent to the Obamas and Clintons broke earlier this week, he has since pivoted back to attacking the media for purportedly covering him unfairly.
This is the first time, however, that the president has publicly mused about the political implications of the attempted bombings. Fox New pundits all week have been claiming that these explosive devices are part of a hoax concocted by Democrats to distract from the caravan of immigrants in Mexico that’s headed to the United States.
