‘Way to lead’: Trump slammed for responding to mail bomb crisis by lazily retweeting Mike Pence

President Donald Trump on Wednesday finally spoke up about the multiple bombs that have been sent to top Democrats this week -- but he mostly just regurgitated a statement from Vice President Mike Pence.

Instead of releasing his own statement on the attempted killings of his political opponents, the president simply re-tweeted Pence's statement and only added, "I agree wholeheartedly!"

In his original tweet, Pence wrote that "we condemn the attempted attacks against former President Obama, the Clintons, CNN & others" while adding that "these cowardly actions are despicable and have no place in this Country... those responsible will be brought to justice."

Trump's decision to simply re-tweet Pence while adding a mere three-word endorsement drew scorn from Twitter users -- check out some of the reactions below.
