On Thursday, CNN's Anderson Cooper slammed President Donald Trump and read off a laundry list of lies the president has spewed out.

Trump has toughened up his rhetoric on the caravan crisis ahead of the midterm election, even though it won't reach the U.S-Mexico border for nearly two months.

Trump lied and said that there are nearly 25-30 million undocumented immigrants in America, even though the number is closer to 12 million.

Trump also lied about asylum seekers and the border wall.

"[He] claimed that only 3 percent of asylum seekers show up for their court hearings, according to the most Justice Department, 75 percent of [show up]" Cooper said. "So claiming only 3 percent of asylum seekers show up is completely not true. I mean, it could be funny if it was just some pundit making stuff up, but this is the president making stuff up."

"The president also said construction of his new border wall is underway. As we've shown you time and time again, it is not. They're repairing existing fencing," Cooper said.
