Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Strategic Communications Philippe Reines mocked "America's biggest baby' President Donald Trump Wednesday on MSNBC, after the president reacted to the latest news about the Russia investigation by tweeting a photo featuring prominent Democrats in prison.
"I don't think that it surprises anyone after the news of the last couple of days about Paul Manafort meeting Julian Assange and Roger Stone that Donald Trump has bars on his mind," Reines said. ""Somehow America's oldest president is also its biggest baby."
Reines added that the president's frequent unhinged and bizarre tweets didn't worry him, but were rather a reassurance.
"It's so absurd, that no one looks at it worldwide or the bulk of America who are seeing and thinks, 'oh okay, maybe he's not so bad,'" he said. "It's actually helpful, I think, for him to remind so many that he is out of his mind."
