On Wednesday, Obama-era White House ethics chief Norm Eisen knocked President Donald Trump for "dangling a pardon" in front of Paul Manafort.
Manfort, Trump's former campaign chairman was busted for lying after he took a plea deal from Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Eisen told CNN's Erin Burnett that Trump's latest "manifested actions" and potential obstructing of justice is "atrocious" for the president of the United States.
"He has, again and again, manifested an intention and actions to interfere with this investigation," Eisen said.
To add to the fire, President Trump RT'd a photo saying, "Now that the Russia collusion is a proven lie when do the trials for treason begin."
Eisen said that Trump was "denigrating constitutional norms," and that the American people are "disgusted" by Trump and his Tweets.
"It's atrocious that we have a president of the United States who threatens criminal prosecution against his adversaries, and for doing what? Following the law," Eisen added.
"This is the president of the United States. He's our most senior law enforcement official. He's supposed to signal respect. He exemplifies the Constitution. The American people are disgusted by it," he said.
