Fox News fans freak out at Geraldo after he admits feeling 'nauseous' watching 'gassing' of migrants

Fox News' Geraldo Rivera on Monday said he felt sickened by images of U.S. Border Patrol agents lobbing gas canisters at migrant women and children -- but he wound up angering many Fox fans who accused him of being soft on immigration.

"The gassing of [the] migrant caravan made me nauseous," Rivera wrote on Twitter Monday morning. "Those images may play with the base, but they will also be a scar on our nation's reputation."

Rivera then went on to say that even lobbing canisters of pepper spray at migrants wouldn't completely deter them from trying to seek asylum in the United States.

"A hungry, frightened family will not stop trying to get to a better life," he said. "No, we can't accommodate all, but we can be humane and compassionate."

Rivera's Trump-loving followers, however, were not having any of it and some even accused him of only siding with the migrants because they were Latinos like him.
