President Donald Trump on Friday, after going on a furious rant to reporters on the White House lawn, continued angrily attacking his political foes on Twitter shortly afterward.
First, the president told Democrats that it was time to give up their hopes of forcing a recount in Georgia's gubernatorial race, as he declared Republican nominee Brian Kemp to be the victor even though his opponent, Democrat Stacey Abrams, has yet to concede.
"Brian Kemp ran a great race in Georgia -- he won," Trump wrote. "It is time to move on!"
Trump then attacked Democrats in both Georgia and Florida for seeking recounts of close races for governor and the U.S. Senate.
"You mean they are just now finding votes in Florida and Georgia -- but the Election was on Tuesday?" Trump asked sarcastically. "Let's blame the Russians and demand an immediate apology from President Putin!"
