MSNBC’s Ali Velshi hilariously mocks Trump for the message his rally music sends his followers

MSNBC's Ali Velshi, always quick with a bon mot, had a few choice words for the musical selection playing at President Trump's Friday afternoon rally in West Virginia, closing a short interview with Hallie Jackson, who was live on the scene.

Jackson detailed some of the overarching themes of the event, including that the White House expected the president to crow about the latest jobs numbers.

"The question is," she added, "is that the message the president wants to highlight when he gets out here to these rallies."

As the segment closed, the rally music grew louder in volume. With Steve Perry's vocals ringing out in the background, Velshi quipped, "Journey's Don't Stop Believing is a little ironic for a president who lies on average 30 time a day."
