On Thursday, President Donald Trump held a press conference to address the migrant caravan crisis.

The caravan is set to reach the U.S-Mexico border in roughly two months, however, Trump has spiced-up his hateful rhetoric about migrants to fire up his base before the midterm election.

While talking about women voters, Trump said he was doubling-down on migrants coming into the US to keep them safe.

"What do you say to the critics who think this is a political thing about this?" a reporter asked.

"I don't want them in our country," Trump responded. "Women don't want them in our country. Women want security. It's a very big thing."
