Fox News' Geraldo Rivera tried to wax legal when commenting on the sentencing memo special counsel Robert Mueller issued for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. However, an actual attorney stepped in for the perfect rebuke.
"Sentencing memo for #GeneralMichaelFlynn remarkable for its lack of connection to @realDonaldTrump Nothing speaks to #RussianCollusion zip zero nada #CollusionIllusion wrap it up," Rivera wrote.
That's when former US Attorney Renato Mariotti stepped in.
"The legal 'analysis' and narrative by Trump's defenders is so divorced from reality that it's impossible to engage with it in a serious way," he
said.
Ouch.
