Federal judge Emmet Sullivan ordered former Donald Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn to surrender his passport following a delay in sentencing on Tuesday.
Crime and justice reporter Shimon Prokupecz revealed the restrictions on Twitter.
Flynn was also ordered to stay within 50 miles of Washington.
"He is imposing the restrictions because they are typical for defendants released on personal recognizance but he had just learned Flynn was not under such a restriction," Prokupecz reported.
