Attorneys for notorious Republican dirty-trickster Roger Stone are whining that the public found out he is invoking the Fifth Amendment against incriminating himself for crimes -- and refusing to cooperate with congressional investigators.
On Tuesday, Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) released a letter from four defense attorneys saying Stone was refusing to produce documents.
"Roger is availing himself of his legal rights. Mr. Stone says they leak too much and the Ranking Minority Member Tweets out Mr. Stone’s letter without so much as contacting his counsel to discuss," one of his defense attorneys told ABC News.
In their letter to Feinstein, his defense lawyers had claimed, "Mr. Stone decries secrecy."
