Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner predicted on MSNBC that special counsel Robert Mueller had obtained "covert recordings" as part of his investigations into Donald Trump.

Kirschner worked with Mueller in the homicide section of the U.S. Attorney's office in the District of Columbia.

"I've got to tell you, I think there may very well be more tapes to drop, we're going to hear about that in the future," Kirschner predicted.

Cohen reportedly had over 100 recordings.

"I have a feeling we may be hearing some more covert recordings," he added.
