President Donald Trump confirmed in a video posted on Twitter that a shut down will officially happen.
In the video, he blamed the Democrats for not signing off on his budget to build a border wall. However, Trump also did not have the support from Senate Republicans to build the wall.
He then ranted about MS-13. He said that "drugs are pouring in, and that we don't want gangs like MS13 in our country."
"We are going to have a shutdown. Hopefully, the shutdown will not last long," Trump said.
