WATCH: Air New Zealand Christmas ad replicates Trump’s UN laughter moment

Published

on

An Air New Zealand advertisement released for the Christmas season this week takes a dig at U.S. President Donald Trump by portraying an American boy wearing a “Make Christmas Great Again” red cap being laughed at by other children on Santa’s “naughty” list.

The three-minute advert beckoning travelers with a Christmas greeting from “the nicest place on earth” sees Santa accidentally emailing his 2018 list of naughty children to a student in New Zealand named Elvis Anderson instead of his elves at the North Pole.

Sitting in detention, Anderson gets the idea of gathering the naughty kids from around the world to fix the problem, and calls on New Zealand’s national carrier to help transport the children to the summit on the country’s North Island.

Each child representing a country makes promises to change their behavior for the better by eating more vegetables, reducing flatulence and cutting down on hair-pulling.

The American boy, dressed in a two-piece suit and red sloganed cap, says he is not naughty at all and is the nicest person he knows, provoking laughter from the other children, reminiscent of the reaction to Trump’s speech to the U.N. General Assembly in September, when he spoke about the achievements of his administration.

“I didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s okay”, the boy adds in the advertisement, the same words Trump used at the United Nations.

Further pledges to be good from Anderson, including one to be nicer to neighboring Australia made with his fingers crossed behind his back to suggest he doesn’t intend to keep the promise, pushes a meter to “Nice” for the children, and confetti rains down as they celebrate.

‘Was Goebbels Unavailable?’:ABC blasted for ‘normalizing Fascism’ by putting Sean Spicer on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Published

“Remember when Spicer talked about ‘Holocaust centers’ and defended Hitler, saying he didn’t use chemical weapons?”

Disney and ABC Television must have known that putting former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer on “Dancing With the Stars” would draw condemnation, but the outrage over the just-announced news is palpable.

Spicer will go down in history for the massive lies he told, starting with his vicious and attacking falsehoods about the size of the crowd at President Donald Trump’s inauguration. The lies seemed to continue daily, only to be outdone by, at one point, Spicer actually appearing to defend Hitler for not gassing his people – which he clearly did.

Ted Cruz jokingly predicted Trump would ‘nuke Denmark’ during 2016 primary

Published

On Wednesday, Gizmodo unearthed a clip from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) when he was running against Donald Trump in the 2016 GOP presidential primary, and one of the tongue-in-cheek warnings he made about the future president was particularly eye-opening.

"I wake up every day and laugh at the latest thing Donald has tweeted, because he's losing it," said Cruz. "But we need a commander in chief, not a Twitterer in chief. We need someone with judgment and the temperament to keep this country safe. I don’t know anyone who would be comfortable with someone who behaves this way having his finger on the button."

Trump just got busted for inflating his golf resorts’ value by $165 million — a jailable offense

Published

President Donald Trump appears to have misstated the value of his Scottish golf resorts by $165 million, an act which could potentially constitute a federal crime.

The controversy came to light after seemingly conflicting financial disclosure forms regarding the president's Aberdeen and Turnberry resorts in Scotland were submitted in the U.S. and the U.K., according to a new report by HuffPost.
