CNN's Erin Burnett had no patience Tuesday for President Donald Trump's informal economic advisor throwing out fake facts and false equivalencies during the show.

Moore tried to say that Trump shouldn't be afraid to shut down the government because he is correct that the United States needs border security and must have his wall. That was when Burnett cut in.

"I interject again, just to make the point because I'm not going to let that go. Border security and a wall are not necessarily the same thing. I know your job is to try to conflate it but I just can't let it go," she said.

"Erin, I promise, every single political rally that Donald Trump had from the day he first started running for president, he said, 'I'm going to build the wall,'" Moore responded.

"And Mexico was going to pay for it," Urban Radio's April Ryan cut in.

"If Donald Trump is known for anything, it's building the wall," Moore said.

"And Mexico would pay for it," Ryan said again.

Sadly, for Moore, however, Trump saying something over and over about building the wall doesn't make it true that the wall is about border security.
