On Thursday, Late Night host Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump for the latest unfolding of scandals surrounding him. Trump's former lawyer and "fixer" Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for implicating Trump in a hush-money scandal. Cohen said that he would rather go to prison than stay locked into loyalty to the president.

"You know you are hard to work for when going to prison is a relief," Meyers joked.

Meyer continued by saying that Trump is like a "naked drunk dude" running on the latest episode of Cops. In response to Cohen being sentenced to prison, Trump said that he had nothing to do with it, and also proceeded to appear as if he didn't care.

Trump also shrugged when asked why he hired Cohen, "It just happened," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.

"It only happens to you -- nobody else accidentally hires a criminal lawyer," Meyers said.

Reports revealed that on the day of Cohen's sentencing, that Trump didn't show up to work until noon.

"Trump is doing what you expect the most powerful man in the world to be doing -- blowing off work and watching TV. It's like when you know you are about to get fired, so you are just bad at your job," Meyers said.
