Convicted Trump advisor joined medical marijuana pill company after release from prison

Former Donald Trump campaign advisor George Papadopolous announced on Tuesday that he is joining the board of directors of a medical marijuana company.


Papadopolous is currently on supervised release after serving time for his felony conviction of lying to investigators.

On Twitter, Papadopoulos announced he was joining the board of advisors for C3 International, a California company that makes the Idrasil marijuana pill.

Papadopoulos claimed their "revolutionary product will assist in weaning Americans off the deleterious opioid epidemic.
