MSNBC panel breaks into fit of giggles discussing Trump’s ‘political impotence’ over his shutdown and wall

MSNBC's "Deadline: White House" on Tuesday suffered a bout of contagious laughter while discussing President Donald Trump's "political impotence" over his wall.

The entire show had a light-hearted feel when discussing the president's Oval Office address to the American people. Trump's prime-time address will seek to get Capitol Hill lawmakers to pay for his wall -- despite his campaign promises that Mexico would pick up the tab.

The laughter began with anticipation of Steve Schmidt joining the panel.

"Talk about the weakness that it betrays as well," Wallace said. "Only a weak executive throws up his hands and says, 'I'm so impotent, I'm so impotent, cannot rally support in Congress.'"

"They are all laughing at impotent," Wallace noted, as the giggling intensified.

"Talk about the small handedness," John Heilemann asked. "The tiny hands."

Wallace brought the conversation back to the wall.

"We see here the conman being exposed," Schmidt suggested.

"People have come to see the wizard and the wizard has promised them the Great Wall of Trump paid for by the Mexicans, but at the moment for the unveiling of the wall, it appears to be an invisible one," Schmidt suggested.

"Where are the Pesos?" he asked. "Where are the Mexican Pesos that the American people were promised would pay for this wall?"

The laughter continued to increase.

"There are no pesos," Schmidt said as the panel absolutely lost it.
